Dogs are welcome at Hillthwaite House. We have a limited number of house and classic rooms available for guests bringing their dog and dogs are allowed strictly by prior arrangement only.
Dogs are allowed in the bedroom (not on the beds or furniture) and in the conservatory downstairs.
Dogs are by prior arrangement only and a charge of £7.75 per dog per night applies.
Booking Terms
Prices
All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
Once booked, rates are non transferable to any other offers or rates as our prices may fluctuate in line with market demand.
The rates are per person per night for 2 sharing a double room (1 in single room)
Departures
Guests are requested to vacate their rooms by 11.00am on the day of departure. A late checkout (12noon) when available is charged at an additional £20 per room and are strictly by prior arrangement..
Deposits
Reservations may be guaranteed with a non refundable deposit of £50.00 per person payable by Visa, MasterCard, Switch or by post with a cheque (clearance of at least 7 days is required for cheques prior to arrival).
Payment can be made by cash, travellers' cheques, MasterCard, Switch or Visa. Personal cheques will be accepted when accompanied by a current banker's card, to the card limit. Guests wishing to settle accounts by cheque, above card limits, strictly by prior arrangement.
Outstanding Balance
Full payment of the balance is due before 11am on your departure date, room keys are to handed to reception and the balance paid before leaving the hotel.
Non UK bookings require full payment 4 weeks prior to arrival.
Cancellations
When cancelling 7 or more days prior to your arrival as a goodwill gesture we will hold the deposit for a future booking taken within 6 months otherwise it is retained by the hotel. For cancellations made up to 7 days before arrival or by failing to take up the booking without cancelling you will be liable for the total amount of the stay if we are unable to re-let the room. A reservation is a legally binding contract therefore we urge you to take out holiday insurance.
Indoor Swimming Pool
No lone swimming permitted in the indoor pool.
Smoking Policy
The hotel is completely non smoking. In line with government law and hotel policy no smoking is permitted in any bedrooms or anywhere inside the building. Damage caused or cleaning required as a result of smoking in bedrooms is chargeable. Rooms which cannot be let as a result of smoking will be charged for at full tariff rates to compensate for additional cleaning and loss of revenue.
Dogs
Well behaved dogs are permitted in some bedrooms of the hotel at a charge of £7.75 per dog per night. Downstairs, dogs are permitted in the conservatory only and not on the soft furnishings. Please do not leave your dog in the room alone.
Hotel guests have exclusive use of our private leisure facilities.
